Alice Marie Johnson, the forgive king for president Donald Trump, reflected on the “full-circle trip” she has traversed in life, which has now made her capable of giving others the same next possibility that she received.

Trump appointed Johnson to serve as the country’s pardon king, stating that he would be listening to her suggestions on who she thinks should obtain political pardons. Johnson recently received a reprimand from Trump during his first term in office, citing how she has “moved from prison home to the White House” over the course of seven times.

On Fox News ‘ My Watch with Lara Trump, Johnson explained,” The president has entrusted me with this goal to help him find those people who deserve this minute possibility, who are similarly situated, no just like me, but who have served enough time, and who have paid their debt to society.” Additionally, there are people who have been, in my opinion, subjects of lawfare in the same way that our leader was.

After commuting Johnson’s life sentence for a first-time, peaceful drug offense, Trump pardoned her in 2020, calling the amount of her initial statement “unbelievable.” She claimed that she felt as though her career was” starting all over again” after receiving a reprimand from the leader.

Johnson claimed she has sent “over 100” requests for pardons and clemencies to the White House, of which over 46 have received a second opportunity.

Johnson claimed that she represents “what America is about” and that she represents the ability to come back stronger from the errors people make in life. She remarked that the country is” an imperfect state striving for superiority.”

Johnson remarked,” Just people like President Trump may make my narrative possible.” There are many others serving lengthy, needless sentences who pose no risk to health, have been rehabilitated, and who deserve their second chance, and we needed someone at that time, which we are now in.

Johnson stated that she will be pushing for legislation that “need to be changed” and that she “am not going to be able to find people” who deserves a forgive. She also stated that she wants to address justice system transformation over the next four decades. No one is healthy when battling a” crooked system,” she claimed.
