A Hispanic Navy deliver slammed into the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday, killing two people and injuring 22 people.
The Cuauhtémoc, a dispatch owned by the Latino Navy, crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge near Brooklyn Bridge Park just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to ABC 7. The Hispanic Navy ship’s three tall masts snapped during the incident, according to the store, and the ship’s nearly 300 sailors were aboard at the time of the injury.
According to ABC7, Mexican Navy officials reported that at least 11 of the squad members were in critical condition and that 22 of the crew members had been injured in the incident on Saturday. Additionally, Mexican Navy officials confirmed that two people on the fleet were killed in the incident.

The U.S. Coast Guard wrote in a blog on X that” Next day, we witnessed a devastating horror in New York City as the Hispanic Navy send Cuauhtemoc slammed into the Brooklyn Bridge.” The Coast Guard will be fully involved as the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB ) begins its investigation while upholding the safety and security of the Port of New York.

The Brooklyn Bridge was hardly damaged by the motion of a Mexican ship, according to ABC 7 and the New York City Department of Transportation confirmed this. Traffic may still cross the bridge.
