The multimillionaire hip-hop mogul grabbed an employee in the middle of the night to help him find and kill the other man, according to a bombshell opening statement from the feds on Monday. When Sean” Diddy” Combs discovered that R&amp, B artist Casandra” Cassie” ( also known as Casandra” Cassie” ) was dating someone else, the multimillionaire hip-hop mogul ( also known as Casandra” Cassie” ), grabbed him for

” For decades, the accused physically abused Cassie. Additionally, he sexually abused her, forcing her to have sex with female girls while recording and watching it. However, the accused discovered that night that he had lost control of Cassie,” Assistant and U.S. &nbsp, Attorney &nbsp, Emily Johnson &nbsp, charged in Manhattan Federal Court.

” He took his weapon and he took his companion — one of his most faithful lieutenants — to wake up one of the prosecutor’s workers in the middle of the night. The respondent yelled that he was going to murder Cassie,”.

The man’s accuser claimed a demented Combs don’t be located. But he did find his father, 17 years his junior, whom Johnson said he frequently assaulted between 2006 and 2018 for grounds as easy as taking too long in the bath.

” He carried out his actions repeatedly earlier. He savagely beat her, according to him. Kicking her in the back and flinging her about like a rag doll. However, that crime alone was insufficient. The accused threatened her by making certain he had power over Cassie once more; he threatened to release the videos of her having sex with female escorts as blackmail. Souvenirs of the most degrading night of her life”.

Johnson claimed that the shocking consideration was only one night in a 20-year history of violence, abuse, and depravity that jurors would speak about throughout the trial.

She claimed that prosecutors would compile a timeline of how Combs founded and used his reputation to force and change women into sordid “freak offs,” aggressive, “dayslong, drug-fueled” sexual acts with female commercial sex workers, against their will.

She said proof would demonstrate how patients were drugged for the twisted classes in which Combs occasionally directed female escorts to urinate in their mouths. According to Johnson, the prosecution’s case will mainly concentrate on the mistreatment that was inflicted on three people: Mia, Combs ‘ past personal assistant, and &nbsp, Ventura, Jane, a single mother who Combs met in 2020. There will be nicknames for Jane and Mia.

” He sometimes called himself the prince, and he expected to be treated like one”, the prosecutor said. This situation is not about a person’s personal sexual choices. Because the accused forced women to have sex when they didn’t want to, the evidence will demonstrate that the sexual behavior in this case was aggressive and illegal.

She said considerable evidence, including evidence, videos, text messages, words memos and more, would leave no doubt about Combs ‘ guilt and would demonstrate how his network of bodyguards and high-ranking employees helped him commit kidnapping, arson, narcotics offenses, sex crimes, bribery, and obstruction and include it all up.

Additionally, more than 1, 000 bottles of baby oil that were recovered during searches of the mogul’s lavish properties across the&nbsp, U.S. are expected to be revealed to the jury, along with semi-automatic AR-15 rifles with defaced serial numbers.

Sean Combs, this is&nbsp. To the public, he was ‘ Puff Daddy’ or’ Diddy’ — a cultural icon, a businessman, larger than life”, Johnson said in court, looking over at Combs. However, he had a criminal side that ran a different one.

After a dreadful sigh in Manhattan Federal Judge Arun Subramanian, Arun Subramanian, swore in an anonymous eight men and four women to serve on the jury, &nbsp, after surveyed dozens of New Yorkers over the past week, the highly anticipated trial began at 10:30 a.m.

In the defense’s opening statement, Combs ‘ attorney, &nbsp, Teny Geragos, told jurors her client committed domestic violence, “gets so angry, so jealous, he’s out of control”, and would appear to be “mean” and a “jerk” when they see the prosecution’s evidence. She claimed to the panel that he was a” complicated man.”

However, the attorney claimed that they must still find him innocent.

” He is not charged with being mean. He is not accused of being rude. He is accused of operating a racketeering business, Geragos said. ” We take full responsibility that there was domestic violence in this case. Sex trafficking is not used domestically. Domestic violence is not sex trafficking, I repeat. Had he been charged with domestic violence, had he been charged with assault, we would not be here right now”.

Then Geragos continued,” These are federal crimes. Sex trafficking, prostitution, racketeering. They charge various elements. And he is simply not guilty of those crimes”.

The lawyer claimed that the case involved” capable adults in consensual relationships” and “love, jealousy, infidelity, and money” and that Combs ‘ alleged victims were being accused of being motivated by money. She argued that no one from his former employers or associates would come forward to deny involvement in a criminal enterprise and described the Harlem, Harlem native as a self-made millionaire with a magnetic charisma and promising professional opportunities for those in his circle.

The attorney said videotapes of the “freak offs” may be hard for some jurors to watch, but she said they were “intimate” and never intended to be viewed by anyone who didn’t participate, denying they were used as blackmail.

” This case is about Sean Combs ‘ private, personal sex life, which is unrelated to his legitimate business.” The government “has no place in his private bedrooms,” Geragos said. ” He is physical. He uses drugs. His love of baby oil is probably known to you. Is that a federal crime? ” No”

Combs, 55, has entered a not-guilty plea to charges of racketeering conspiracy, transporting victims and sex workers for prostitution, and other matters. The disgraced mogul, who’s incarcerated at the&nbsp, Metropolitan Detention Center&nbsp, in&nbsp, Brooklyn, &nbsp, is facing a potential decadeslong prison sentence&nbsp, if convicted at the end of the trial, which is slated to last for around two months.

The prosecution quickly turned their attention to their case after the opening statements, playing highly publicized footage of Combs beating on March 5, 2016, in a lobby of the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles during testimony from the first witness, a former hotel security guard. Then they called a former male dancer who claimed Combs had arranged for him to sleep with his girlfriend in 2012.

The 2016 beating saw domestic violence allegations against Combs explode into public view in&nbsp, May 2023&nbsp, when the footage was published by&nbsp, CNN&nbsp, and led to Combs publicly apologize. The footage, which shows Combs violently kicking and dragging her body across the floor, shoving a vase at her as she tried to escape him, was being watched by his lawyers aggressively by his attorneys.

Israel Florez, a police officer at the time who was the hotel’s assistant director of security, verified the video. He told jurors that Combs tried to bribe him to stay silent about the incident, which he said he refused.

Former male dancer Daniel Philip, a former male dancer, claimed Combs first enlisted him for sex at the&nbsp, Gramercy Park Hotel, in 2012. He claimed to have been hired to play for a bachelorette party, but when he arrived, only Ventura, a man in a baseball cap, white robe, and bandana covering most of his face, showed up. &nbsp, Ventura&nbsp, told him that her “husband” wanted Philip to massage her with baby oil.

Philip claimed he never had sexual relations with anyone before or after his sessions with Combs and&nbsp, Ventura, and that he recognized him as Combs as soon as he opened his mouth, despite Combs claiming to work in “import and exporting.” He claimed that Combs masturbated in the corner while engaging in sexual activity with Ventura.

He said he’d be hired multiple times after that first day until late 2013, always in&nbsp, Manhattan, always with Combs present and masturbating in the corner, and always including baby oil. He claimed that once upon a time when he was urinate on&nbsp, Ventura, that she was so heavily drugged that he could not sleep with her and that the only time he spoke to her by herself was when she was shaking and appeared “terrified.”

After first witnessing Combs physically assault&nbsp, Ventura, Philip said he had stopped seeing the couple. He said that occurred after Combs called&nbsp, Ventura&nbsp, to come into another room, and she asked him to wait a second, prompting Combs to throw a liquor bottle at&nbsp, Ventura, grab her by the hair, drag her across the room and begin beating her.

Philip said he was afraid for his safety when Assistant&nbsp, U.S. &nbsp, Attorney&nbsp, Maurene Comey&nbsp, asked why he hadn’t reported Combs ‘ violent behavior to the police.

” I was concerned for my life.” By this point, he had taken my ID and taken a picture of it, and I felt threatened by what he said to me, and I felt that at the very least, I could try to get her to realize that she needed to leave and maybe try to help her that way”.

Tuesday is the trial’s next day.
