Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino confirmed on Sunday that wealthy sex offender Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In a Sunday interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, both Patel and Bongino dismissed other theories regarding Epstein’s death and insisted that the sex offender and alleged sex trafficker died by suicide.

Asked by Bartiromo about Epstein’s death and the people who do not believe that the deceased sex offender died by suicide, Patel said, “Listen, they have a right to their opinion, but as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who’s been in that prison system, who’s been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who’s been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that’s what that was.”

Following Patel’s answer to Bartiromo, Bongino added, “He killed himself. Again, you want me to—I’ve seen the whole file, he killed himself.”

NEW: Kash Patel and Dan Bongino double down on Jeffrey Epstein claim, “He killed himself.”

It’s the most infamous death of the century.

And when Kash Patel told Maria Bartiromo he believed Epstein committed suicide, she pushed back.

Following Patel’s claim that Epstein died by suicide, the famous sex offender’s brother, Mark Epstein, has pushed back against the FBI director’s comments. Mark Epstein told The Daily Mail that Patel “wasn’t there, he didn’t see the body, he didn’t see the autopsy.”

Addressing Patel’s dismissal of other theories regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s mysterious death, Mark Epstein said, “[He has] no idea what the f-ck he’s talking about.”

“It would be a lot easier for me if I thought it was suicide, but there’s a long list of things that point away from it,” Mark Epstein added.

According to Fox News, Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in August of 2019 inside his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. The outlet noted that New York City’s top medical examiner determined that Epstein had killed himself by hanging prior to his trial regarding the sex trafficking of minors.

Fox News reported that many people suggested in the aftermath of Epstein’s death that he had been killed due to his connection with powerful political figures in the United States and across the world, such as former President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew.
