Less than eight weeks after his interview, the Bangladesh interim government is set to name Md Jashim Uddin as its foreign minister, according to Ahsan Tasnim. According to sources, Jashim Uddin and general assistant Muhammad Yunus and international affairs assistant Touhid Hossain are” not in sync”. A “humanitarian corridor” and” safe zone” for Rohingya refugees was proposed by Yunus and his NSA Khalil Rahman and approved by the UN. His opinions echoed those of the military, who fear Bangladesh’s autonomy could be compromised by the hall. According to sources, Yunus and Rahman allegedly made ruthless efforts to “engineer” Jashim Uddin’s elimination. He had initiated discussions with Pakistan’s Bangladeshi side at FOC level on April 17 and had raised the subject of a” fair share” of Pakistan’s assets from Pakistan before 1971. He had raised the issue of a$ 4.32 billion claim.
