Following the violent deaths of a young couple last night, various organizations that Elias Rodriguez was a part of have been trying to distance themselves from him because it has become crystal obvious to them that their actions have consequences. While it may be fairly simple to scream for the murder of Jews, it is completely different to take their own lives:

The Chicago far-left advocate Elias Rodriguez is accused of killing two Israelis outside the Capital Jewish Museum. He has a long record of backing BLM, Palestine, socialist, and anti-white reasons.

Some people have been quite outspoken about their support for Rodriguez, some even going so far as to wish the couple eternal misery, given the relatively low anonymity of the computer ( more or less ).
Examine the responses.

The tragic truth is that the deaths of past night were a foregone conclusion. No one was certain when such a horrible thing would occur, despite the fact that all was aware that it was going to happen. In light of the crude behavior displayed at Columbia, several other institutions, and, for that matter, around the world, the event last night was expected.  ,
Some people might conjecture Rodriguez and the hordes of college students and activists who hardly know who they are, let alone civilization, were inspired by whispers from the Svengalis whispering in their ear. That is, of course, the level of demagoguery, and poor sauce at its best. The blame for this lies with people, from professors to specialized activist groups to the wild-eyed college Keffiyeh Studies disciplines. And so do those who hold public office jobs.  ,

Ilhan Omar (D-Minn. ) has long been a vocal critic of Israel and a champion of Gaza ( read: Hamas ). Given her remarks and procedures, it seemed only appropriate that a Fox News reporter inquired the lawmaker about her opinions on the murders when given the opportunity. She only had to make a speech. One straightforward speech.  ,
She could had expressed regret for the patients and love for their families. She may have urged activists all over to verify their actions and mumbled about the necessity of speech. Hell, she may have uttered” thoughts and prayers” instead. Of course, she didn’t, though. She was hardly able to finish a paragraph.  ,
Ilhan Omar needs to be expelled from Congress right away.
No today.
Hardly a week in.
Now.
We all know that she is happy about these deaths, but she is also aware of it.
If there are any remaining sensible Democrats, it would be an easy win.

” I’m gonna go for today,” I said. That was all she needed to say.  ,
That is the opinion of a fool.
Let’s get clear about what she fears, though. She is not afraid of the language and politics that stoke the flames of antisemitism and chaos. She is perfectly content to gesture, enthral, and inspire as long as her contemporaries and a responsible media dissipate her. She fears having to stand up for herself and her fellow citizens. She is unable to do so because she genuinely doesn’t feel like she should. She didn’t get caught in that because she doesn’t want to be frightened because the horrors are caused by the circumstances, rather than the killings. She’s “going for today,” since she doesn’t have anything to claim.  ,  ,
