After a media statement, Washington&nbsp, said it is reviewing a plan to remove some of its forces, South Korea said there have been no conversations with the&nbsp, U.S., over a potential retracement of American troops stationed in the nation.

According to the report, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people with knowledge of the situation, that the plan could lead to the removal of about 4,500 American troops based in&nbsp, South Korea, and the&nbsp. This move could raise safety concerns in the divided Korean island.

There hasn’t been “absolutely no conversation” with the U.S. and South Korea’s defense ministry regarding a potential U.S. and U.S. troop withdrawal, according to the country’s defense ministry.

The U.S. is a key component of the two countries ‘ empire, helping deter invasion or provoke conflict in North Korea while promoting peace and stability in the region, the department said in a text message to investigators.

According to the WSJ report, one of the options being considered is moving some of the 28, 500 Americans and their families to various locations in the Indo-Pacific area, including Guam, according to the WSJ report. The plan is one of several suggestions being discussed by senior authorities conducting the assessment, according to the report, and has not yet been reached by the United States&nbsp, President&nbsp, Donald Trump ‘s&nbsp, or table.

Trump has urged supporters of the United States to increase military spending in exchange for sending American troops into conflict zones. Trump declared that if he were in the  White House  and called the long-time U.S. alliance a “money equipment,” that South Korea&nbsp would spend billions of dollars more annually to host andnbsp; troops.

Trump made those notes less than two days after the U.S., South Korea, and the Americans reached a new five-year cost-sharing agreement to host American makes on the divided island. In accordance with the agreement, South Korea will increase its share of the costs to 1.52 trillion won ($ 1.1 billion ) in 2026, an increase of 8.3 % compared to this year.

According to the report, a Pentagon official claimed that there were no plan announcements to be made. According to the report, South Korea’s defence ministry declined to comment on the troop withdrawal matter, but National Security Council spokesman Pete Nguyen said Trump was committed to the” total disarmament” of North Korea.

Trump called Korea’s next Acting President Han Duck-soo during a phone call to discuss the trade deficit, manufacturing assistance, the&nbsp, Alaska&nbsp, the pipeline project, and sharing defense costs in April.
