According to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Department of Health and Human Services, Columbia University did in fact violate Israeli students ‘ civil rights on campus.

On May 22, the HHS Office for Civil Rights ( OCR ) released a press release claiming that Columbia University had violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 because it had ignored the growing and severe harassment of Jewish students on campus. Similar to Columbia, institutions that receive federal funding are required to refrain from discrimination based on race or religion. Therefore, it is against the law for a federally sponsored organization to permit pro-Israeli and Jewish students to be subjected to vicious persecution.
Allowing aggressive antisemitism to spread widespread unchecked can have dangerous consequences, as we saw this week with the horrifying murder of two younger Israeli diplomats by a communist radical who screamed “free Palestine.” If we don’t stop the rising tide of racism right away, America will quickly transition to Nazi Germany prior to World War II.

The HHS media release stated that “OCR’s Notice of Violation expresses intensive scientific studies that span a period of more than 19 times in which the University consistently failed to protect Israeli students. Additionally, it gave a list of instances of civil rights breaches at Columbia.

For instance, the University failed:
- To implement successful hatred monitoring and remediation strategies until the summers of 2024,
- To effectively abide by its own rules and procedures when responding to concerns from Israeli students,
- to adhere to its strictest rules and standards for student conduct toward Hebrew students.
- To look into or condemn vandalism in its classrooms, which includes the repeated depiction of swastikas and another hate images that are widely accepted, and to investigate or condemn it.
- Since October 7, 2023, to impose time, location, and manner restrictions on protests held on campus, including those occurring in and around its scientific buildings, home halls, and libraries.
The see of contravention was also signed by the OCR of the Department of Education.

Hopefully, Columbia will have to make a decision between large federal funding and continuing on its destructive course. If the woke school lost millions, or perhaps even billions of dollars in tax funding, it might begin addressing violent hatred on its school.
