
In the park significant of the Seneca Niagara Resort &, Hotel in Niagara Falls, a vehicle pursuit involving several officers companies came to an end on Thursday evening.
A Town of Niagara police commander was called to a Military Road credit union to look into suspicious activity related to fraud, and the pursuit got started on 2:35 p.m. A person drove a light BMW SUV, but the officer made an unsuccessful stop and the officer started the pursuit. The woman immediately drove northeast toward Lewiston before turning up north, traveling down Third Street, turning on to Ferry Avenue, and being pursued by more than a dozen officers cars from various companies. The hunt ended in the parking lot of the game.
In addition to the Town of Niagara, Lewiston, and City of Niagara Falls, Mauxisha Dixon, 37, of Tonawanda, was detained and charged with many different vehicle and transportation offenses. Dixon was detained and taken to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department for indictment.
The quest spanned several states, including the Town of Niagara Police, the New York State Police, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, the Niagara Falls Police, and the Lewiston Police K-9 system.
