Italian tourist escapes NYC house of horror where crypto investor tortured him with a chainsaw for password
John Woeltz, a Crypto entrepreneur, was detained from his New York City apartment where he for weeks tortured an Italian visitor.

A 28-year-old European traveler from New York was imprisoned in a posh Manhattan room where he was forced to use cocaine, threatened with electric chainsaw-severing his legs, and threatened with electric chainsaw-several. All of this came about as a result of a crypto debate, and the host, 37-year-old John Woeltz, a blockchain trader, wanted to retrieve the password from the tourist’s accounts. The European traveled to New York to meet the tourist, who already knew Woeltz from previous business dealings. The visitor claimed he had been held hostage for more than two weeks after being able to flee the house of horrors and run to a policeman agent. Additionally, his card was taken from him.

Polaroid images of the sufferer being abused

The officers detained Woeltz and discovered that the even had a torture chamber built inside as the injured man was transported to Bellevue Hospital for treatment. Some cases of torture were also photographed, and there was proof of it. Police discovered numerous Polaroid images of the victim being tortured and tied up. His blackmail was documented in documents. Police said the victim’s finger also sustained a wound that they thought was the result of the saw. The target claimed to have escaped the dread house because he believed he would have been killed on Friday when he fled. Local vendors claimed that some crypto guys just moved in and that they used to have a strange feeling. A apparel trader claimed to the New York Post that he thought they were only filming video. One resident praised Woeltz and said,” He looked like a good guy.” He simply sported a wealthy man’s clean-shaven locks and a great bathrobe. It appeared that it was difficult for authorities to arrest him.
