Canada silent on Trump's Harvard fight as PM Carney's daughter just finished 1st year
Cloo Carney only finished her first year at Harvard.

Princess Elisabeth of Belgium is not the only VIP international pupil whose case is being litigated by Donald Trump and Harvard. Cleo Carney, the girl of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, is a first-year student at Harvard. If the Trump administration wins the legal fight, Canada has yet another reason to be concerned: if these VIP foreign students will have to move somewhere, despite the fraught rumors. After China, Canada is one of the top donors to Harvard’s foreign students. The majority of foreign students for academic studies are from Canada, too. After the Trump administration imposed a suspension on the school for non-compliance, Canada has no released a statement. The management sought detailed records of nonresident individuals who have been involved in any unlawful activity, murder, or violence in the last five decades. Harvard went to the courtroom to request a transitory stay on the purchase, but it did not even follow the order. The current students will have to move to different colleges if Trump wins the legal fight. The restrictions, according to China, which sends the most students to Harvard, will damage the country’s reputation. A representative for China’s Foreign Ministry said on Friday that” China has consistently opposed the politicization of academic collaboration.” The US decision will only “tarnish its own reputation and image in the world,” she added.

    Cleo Carney, who is he?

Cleao Carney, the eldest child of Carney and the scholar Diana Fox Carnet, majors in social studies and a minors in energy and the environment. When Cleo introduced her father at the Liberal Party leadership function in Ottawa and he was named Canada’s 24th Prime Minister, he attracted much media interest in March 2025. She backed her dad as a first-time vote prior to the election. ” My uncle may not be the most popular prospect, but he will always be one who is principled.” He gives his best effort when he can. He believes in truth, no pretense. That’s what silent management entails: work without ego. And that’s what my father brings to the table. He isn’t trying to grab the light. He’s running but that we can all benefit from him,” she wrote.

What does the French royal family think about Harvard Square?

Princess Elisabeth, 23, only finished her first year at Harvard, where she is pursuing a two-year master’s degree in public policy. According to French royal palace spokesman Lore Vandoorne,” The affect of]the Trump administration’s decision will only become clearer in the coming days/weeks.” ” We are currently investigating the situation,” said palace communications director Xavier Baert, who added,” We are analyzing this at the moment and will let things settle.” In the upcoming month and times, there may still be a lot going on.
