In the first three weeks of this year, a record number of Americans applied for American citizen and the right to live and work continuously, according to standard information. According to figures released by Britain’s Home Office on Thursday, 618 Americans applied for American citizen in the year to March, which is the highest annual number since records began in 2004. The highest number for any third on history for any quarter was more than 1, 900 of those applications submitted between Jan. and March. Immigration attorneys reported that in the midst of President Trump’s election in November, they had received more questions from Americans about possible relocation to Britain. A record number of Americans were granted the right to live in Britain in 2024, according to individual data from the Home Office. The majority of the 5, 521 arrangement applications were made for people who were eligible because of their spouses, parents, and other household ties, while the majority of those who had formerly been granted temporary visas for “skilled workers” and want to stay were granted temporary visas.
