A uniform Police cover officer, 27 years old, was cruelly beaten and robbed of different items on Saturday while he was off-duty in the Bronx. After completing his change, he approached his car at around 4:30 am on St. Peters Avenue in Parkchester. The official was attacked by two intruders who were completely dressed in black and removed his crossbow belt from the vehicle. After the intruders kicked the commander in the head while he lay on the ground, the officer suffered serious injuries, including an eye injury. The victim was taken to a local hospital where his condition was later identified as firm and his identity was never revealed. When the intruders confronted the official during the event, the officer was on the phone with a partner. He reportedly told them,” Don’t take me! I’m a cop”! before they escaped the image. The officer’s bag, identification cards, and both of his personal and NYPD-issued cellular phones were among the stolen items. According to resources, law enforcement officials are looking at this event in relation to a wider pattern of robberies in the Bronx.
