An unusually violent and skeletal kangaroo supposedly” tried to drown” a guy in New South Wales during a serious roadside showdown. After the adult bunny chased him down and forced him into floodwaters that were pooled by the side of the road, Don James found himself in an unforeseen “boxing fit” with him on Friday night near Port Macquarie. Later, James after said,” It was holding me under. ” I only recall being under water, kicking and screaming, and carrying on.” Local native Kristy Lees, who was checking flood levels with her husband at the time the episode took place, witnessed the strange battle. Lees told the BBC,” It’s not every day a large, male bunny decides to take you on.” You do not anticipate seeing it, Lees claims. Two men also warned her about a “really large” bunny lurking just back. The bunny lunged at her car times afterward when she saw it,” as big as the vehicle itself” standing next to a parked car. But it quickly shifted its focus to Don James, who was leaving the road. They literally engaged in a boxing match, Lees recalled. As James attempted to retreat, he stumbled into a pool of floodwater as the” they are throwing punches” appeared in the rearview mirror. That’s when things started to turn sour. Lees claimed that” the kangaroo was holding him down.” James only managed to escape after the kangaroo was allegedly spooked by an approaching car, giving him a chance to flee and stagger toward Lee, who had helped raise the alarm in the neighborhood. Kangaroo attacks are uncommon, but experts claim that the animals have a defensive instinct to chase prey into water and fend off them there, a tactic that is typically employed against dogs, not people. Kangaroos ‘ actions in self-defense may be dangerous, according to research from wildlife behaviorists, even though they aren’t actively trying to kill. Don James now has the honor of being the only person to have survived a kangaroo assault and a previous outstanding white shark encounter. He reportedly told Lees,” First the shark, then the kangaroo.” I sense that they are trying to kill me and all of these other animals.
