In a large shooting late on Monday evening in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park, two people died and eight people were hurt. Local authorities reported to News Action that the shooting occurred around 10:30 PM near the intersection of Lemon Hill Drive and Poplar Drive. At least two of the injured in the event are minors, according to authorities. The identities of the people who died have not been revealed. According to a writer for 6abc, Bryanna Gallagher said in a video posted on X that “people at the scene told me everything was quiet, and finally dozens of pops of people started running.” A large police presence was visible on Chopper 6’s flying film as investigators responded to the event.
