Right activists accuse security troops of killing people in custody and staging the situations to appear like conflicts in a new wave of suspected fake fights in Balochistan. The Counter Terrorism Department ( CTD ) claimed on Monday that it had killed three militants during an operation in the Tang Kiryar region of Barkhan district. Abdul Rehman Buzdar, Fareed Buzdar, and Sultan Marri’s bodies were later transported to the Rakni Basic Health Unit clinic. The official profile was firmly refuted by the deceased’s communities and Baloch rights organizations. They claimed all three had been missing for weeks and had been victims of an arbitrary departure, and that the incident had been fabricated. The activists claimed that” the men were executed after being kept in illegal confinement.” According to a CTD director, the people died in an altercation and weapons were recovered from the image. However, this interpretation of events has been largely refrained from. Another student, Ghaus Bakhsh, was found dead in Kolwah district in Awaran district in a separate affair. He reportedly received a summons to a nearby military station, and his figure, which had obvious signs of torture, was discovered shortly after. This heightened the possibility of judicial deaths. Both incidents were reported by The Balochistan Post, who claimed the incidents mirrored patterns in different cities like Dukki, Ziarat, and Quetta. In those situations, as well as those who had formerly vanished, deceased people were discovered during what were formally called security operations. These incidents, according to human rights organizations and Baloch activists, indicate a worrying trend of state-led murder. They want independent investigations and foreign scrutiny to establish transparency. One rights activist claimed that” this is part of a comprehensive battle.” They continued,” There must be an end to impunity.”
