We have an intriguing growth in Donald Trump’s campaign to make Canada the 51st position, so keep an eye on the maple syrup. Trump made the revelation state on Tuesday that American officials are now” considering” statehood, and that he has a special offer. &nbsp,

Trump has been discussing making Canada the 51st condition for a while, but predictably, American officials aren’t biting. &nbsp,

At a May 6 Oval Office meeting, recently elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney vehemently stated to Trump that Canada is” never for sale” and “won’t be for sale, always.” Trump unafraid to respond with the mysterious “time will tell” and “never say always” in response.

But when has a small rejection always brought down the Donald? He is tossing in a deal-sweetener that, in his opinion, has altered the active rather than just double-down.

Trump claims that by tying their wagon to American military might, Canada could save billions by angling a missile defence dome as the greatest carrot. The two nations ‘ joint air defense system, NORAD, is now a result of their partnership. However, Trump’s” Golden Dome” is a more ambitious project that uses satellites, detectors, and interceptors to build an expansive missile defence weapon. By the end of his term, Trump has promised that it will cost$ 175 billion to run.

Post-Election Real Arrives as Canada Sighs at Trump’s Negotiating Table

Trump stated on Truth Social that if they were to become our beloved 51st State, it would cost$ 61 billion dollars if they were to be a distinct, but unequal, region, but that it would cost ZERO DOLLARS. They are taking the present into account!

It’s true that Canada is interested in joining Trump’s” Golden Dome” missile defense system. &nbsp,

Carney stated to investigators last month,” It’s something that we are looking at and something that has been discussed at a high level.”

Following a cabinet conference on Wednesday, a reporter asked Carney about the martial project and its funding.

At this point, Carney said,” I’m not going to place a value tag” on it.

” We are aware that we have the ability to finish the Golden Dome with assets and partnerships,” he said.

” But I’m not sure anyone bargains on this,” she said. These are martial choices, after all. And we’ll give it a chance in the process.

After Trump threatened rough tariffs on Canada and said it would be better off as a US position, the two nations are currently negotiating about how to trade and security together.

Audrey Champoux, a Carney representative, confirmed that conversations with the United States are taking place regarding security and economic participation. &nbsp,

According to Champoux,” Canadians gave the prime secretary a strong authority to work with the United States to discuss a complete new security and economic partnership.”

She continued, adding that Carney and his officials are “naturally engaged in broad and productive conversations with their British rivals,” which “naturally include strengthening NORAD and related activities like the Golden Dome.”
