    US to begin revoking visas of Chinese students, says secretary of state Marco Rubio

    Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday that the US would commence revoke the visas of some Taiwanese individuals, “including those with links to the Chinese Communist Party or those studying in crucial areas.” Rubio claimed in a blog on X that the state department do “aggressively” withdraw visas. In the US, China is the second-largest resource of foreign individuals. Almost a third of all foreign students were enrolled in UAS organizations during the educational time 2023-2020. International students ‘ growing degree of uncertainty The news comes in response to a number of steps taken this week that have increased international students ‘ growing confusion. As the condition office develops stricter recommendations, including increased security of pupils ‘ social media activity, Rubio suspended the planning of new immigration discussions on Tuesday. International students are worried about the assault, who are already under pressure from US President Donald Trump’s administration. The administration has been accused of using regional security as a pretext to lower the number of foreign students attending US universities. Trump vs. HarvadThe Trump administration’s attempt to halt enrollment at Harvard University was halted by a federal prosecutor while it was pending litigation. Trump defended the initiative on Wednesday, telling reporters that Harvard should set a 15 % enrollment cap for foreign students. The administration has previously faced criticism for earlier emigration policies, including the imprisonment and attempted imprisonment of students who participated in pro-Palestine school protests and the abrupt termination and after limited restoration of constitutional protections for thousands of international students. Some students are unsure about their permits, security, and future in the US because of the changing policies. One student scholar from China who requested anonymity said,” There’s a growing concern among us. ” We came around to discover and help. Universities, advocacy groups, and emigration experts have expressed concerns that these steps may deter best talent from entering the US, eroding the nation’s reputation as a world training hub.
