Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, reiterated his visit on Wednesday to discuss peace with India and urges them to remain down” for peace” and work together to end long-standing conflicts, including Kashmir, water sharing, and terrorism. After India’s harsh political actions and aggressive military counterterrorism operations under Operation Sindoor against Pakistan in retaliation for the Pahalgam evil attack, the change in tone in Pakistan’s terminology can be seen. His remarks were made at the Pakistan-Turkish-Azerbaijan Trilateral Summit in Lachin, Azerbaijan, where Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the country’s leader, and Ilham Aliyev, the country’s president. Sharif’s following speech request came this week. He expressed a similar willingness to work with India on Monday while he was in Tehran to “resolve all problems.” There are issues that require immediate attention and need to be addressed through dialogue, Sharif said, according to Dawn.” We must sit up and speak for the sake of peace. He continued,” I have said in all humility that we want peace in the region [ …] and that requires discussions on the table on issues that require urgent attention and amicable resolution, such as the Kashmir issue in accordance with the Security Council’s resolutions and the people of Kashmir,” adding,” I have said in all earnest that Pakistan would be willing to talk to India on this issue as well.” He further stated that he wanted to continue business relations and criticized India’s selection to halt the Indus Water Treaty, calling it a crucial resource for Pakistan’s agricultural and drinking needs. India has made its position crystal clear, saying that Pakistan’s discussions will only be about Pakistan-occupied Kashmir ( PKK) and terrorism. In his first statement following Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said:” Today, I would also like to tell the world that our stated policy is that if there are discussions with Pakistan, Pakistan will only be about terrorism, and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir ( PKK),” which led to the deaths of 26 people in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22. India launched Operation Sindoor, a planned military activity that began on May 7 and targets nine terrorist launchpads in Pakistan and PoK as retribution. In response to Pakistan’s failed strikes on American military posts on May 8, 9, and 10, the Indian Air Force even destroyed 11 Muslim airbases. Following a conference between their executives standard of military operations on May 10, both sides agreed to end military operations.
