Dreams in limbo: Donald Trump's assault stricken foreign students, prompting Harvard to cram exchange requests.

Despite the government’s onslaught, US President Donald Trump‘s administration’s crackdown aimed to stop the university from hosting international researchers, according to new court documents. In a sworn statement released on Wednesday, the school’s director of immigration services, Maureen Martin, said that” to many foreign students have reached out on transferring to another universities,” amid growing concerns about their legal standing and safety in the US. According to Martin,” Harvard has been inundated with queries from current foreign students and researchers about their reputation and choices.” The prestigious Ivy League organization has been the subject of legal action following President Donald Trump‘s administration’s decision to withdraw its right to house foreign students and researchers. Despite a judge’s decision to temporarily block that action following a Harvard lawsuit last year, the confusion has caused widespread “fear, concern, and dilemma” on campus. According to university data, more than 27 % of Harvard’s undergraduate figure will be from abroad in 2024 or 25. Many of them are now reeling from the rapid change in policy. Some international students and researchers have reported considerable emotional distress that is affecting their emotional health and preventing them from focusing on their reports, according to Martin. The leader accuses US institutions of obstructing his” Make America Great Afterwards” plan with their activities as part of a wider force against them. His administration has targeted foreign-born school activists for imprisonment and suspended student visa processing altogether. Some foreign individuals skipped graduation ceremonies out of concern that they wouldn’t be allowed to re-enter the nation. At least ten Harvard kids or scholars were abruptly turned down for visa applications despite having already been granted. Yet domestic students are considering leaving and complain about the potential loss of their international personality in a Harvard-like style. Martin also noted that the rejected card applications have not been reinstated despite a prosecutor suspending the national block. Harvard wants a complete inversion of what it calls an “unconstitutional and biased” work, and a hearing in the case is scheduled for Thursday.
