    Videos: 11 hospitalized in major boat explosion in Florida

    A ship carrying 13 customers exploded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Memorial Day, leaving two people dead, according to officials.

    The U.S. Coast Guard Southeast reported in a Monday article on X, previously Online, that a ship “exploded” near the New River Triangle in Fort Lauderdale at around 5:45 p.m.

    The boat blast that set off a fireplace and caused” major burn” to several people is depicted in a video and audio shared by NBC News.

    A ship exploded, throwing people into the water, and good Samaritan immediately came over and jumped in to save them, according to Frank Guzman, a spokesman for Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, who spoke to reporters. We have a fire analyst on the field as well, so it’s too soon to find out how this happened.

    A Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue spokesperson told investigators that two children among the 11 people on the boat, including two children, were taken to a nearby doctor following Monday’s boat explosion, according to NBC 6.
