The film shows the tremendous lateral and neck fins of the shark slicing through the water as admirers gasp. The Atlantic Shark Institute, which confirmed the incident, said the whale’s species has not yet been identified but that it has been estimated to be about 20 feet in length. The incident immediately sparked similarities to the famous film, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this time. A big Great White shark sighting earlier this month was now documented by Montauk, New York, just across the water using drone film. This is in line with annual behavior, according to sea researchers. Sharks normally follow as bass and other predators move closer to shore during the summer months.
