Indian tech entrepreneur Nagendra Dhanakeerthi recounts final hurdle before getting O-1A visa: 'Why do you think you are extraordinary?'
Nagendra Dhanakeerthi, an American tech businessman, shares his experience obtaining an extraordinary category visa for the US.

Nagendra Dhanakeerthi, an Indian tech investor, just relocated to California on an O-1A visa, which is only granted to “extraordinary” individuals in their fields. His evacuation comes as a result of the Donald Trump government’s stricter regulations for foreign citizens and a growing rift between US tech employees over the H-1B immigration, the program that allows US companies to employ people with unusual skills. However, Nagendra is an O-1A, and he claimed that when he was asked why he thinks he is incredible, his final obstacle was to get the card. The main requirement for applicants to be exceptional in their area is the visa. You do learn a lot of failures, Dhanakeerthi said, despite the fact that I was comfortable. The Indian techie’s voyage from Bengaluru to California is covered in a Wall Street Journal article about immigration and why it is important for California’s expansion. His brilliance was the response Nag gave, which earned him his incredible type visa. He said,” I explained how I led groups across regions and how AI Squared acquired the solution I created.” One of California’s newest citizens, Dhanakeerthi, was described as someone who his firm had to pay a lot to travel there. Due to his difficulties with working remotely, the Indian businessman relocated to California with his family Sindhuja Ravichandran and their two daughters. After his company was bought by a unique opportunity, he is now the chief technical officer of the AI business. According to the WSJ report, his business applied for a visa to travel the CTO to California for a period of six months, paying the business about$ 30,000. A second card candidate in India, according to Darren Kimura, the CEO of AI Squared, is also navigating the O-1A implementation process. The second place, according to Kimura, is for the general consumer agent, which is a little difficult to define.
