After his girlfriend allegedly cashed in his$ 3.6 million winning ticket before disappearing from his life, a French man’s lottery desire turned into a legal problem. Winnipeg resident Laura Campbell claims he had lost his wallet and lack of proper identification and was unable to collect the$ 5 million prize on his own. He asked his long-term partner, Krystal McKay, to say the winnings on his behalf by trudging her. However, McKay reportedly cut ties with Campbell shortly after receiving the money, which led to him filing a petition to return what he claims is legitimately his. When he entrusted her with the winning ticket, Campbell’s attorney told CTV News that the pair had been living together and were in a “loyal, engaged, and promising loving relationship.” Less than two months after winning the prize, the lawsuit claims that McKay failed to return to the hotel space she and her partner were sharing. Campbell claims that after searching her for her, he discovered her in bed with another person. His attorney claimed that” she ghosted him, refused to take his calls or respond to his messages, blocked him on her social media accounts, and even issued a shelter get.” McKay, on the other hand, has refuted the claims and is scheduled to react in court.
