After discussion and discussion arose over Harvard University’s choice of Chinese student Yurong” Luanna” Jiang as its commencement speaker, after critics expressed concerns about her family history and affiliations. One of the most widely-shared criticisms was made by X person @amuse, who wrote,” Why did Harvard choose a Chinese nationwide affiliated with a CCP-funded and supervised Organization whose father is a high-ranking established in that NGO who serves as a quasi-diplomatic representative for the CCP to deliver the commencement address at Harvard this time?” Her father, Jiang Zhiming, works for the CCP as a quasi-diplomatic representative in the NGO. The condition and Communist Party have strong relationships to the China wildlife conservation and natural development foundation ( CBCGDF), which was established in 1985 by China’s position council. Jiang, a researcher of global growth, titled her talk” Our Humanity” and emphasized the need for cohesion and cohesion in a divided world. She said,” Now, that assurance of a connected world is fading away into section, fear, and conflict.” We’re starting to think that people who vote different, think differently, or pray separately are not just bad. We falsely believe that they are evil. A little standing ovation followed her speech. She eventually claimed to have a personal connection to US President Donald Trump when she made her notes to Harvard Magazine. We may not demonize those we disagree with in a very divided world, she said. Alan Garber, chairman of Harvard, also spoke at the ceremony, defending the university’s global outlook. He said,” Our worldwide reach is exactly as it should be,” and he received ovations. Trump has criticized Harvard for having a 25 % international student population, calling for a 15 % reduction. He even warned the school that without leadership and policy adjustments, its federal funding might be in jeopardized. Garber vehemently criticised the government’s actions, calling them an “unlawful attempt to control important aspects of our school’s operations.”
