One person was killed and 11 people were hurt in a mass shooting at a home party near Hickory, North Carolina, according to authorities in the early days of Sunday. Around 12:45 am, about 60 miles north of Charlotte, officers were called to the residence. When they arrived, they discovered that 12 persons had been shot, according to a statement from the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and a New York Post. One man was later declared dead, and another is also in critical condition. The other survivors ‘ circumstances have not been made public. Authorities have not yet made any detention, and they have not yet made any information available about possible suspects. As the research drags on, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the prosecutor’s office and the local authorities. More information is being awaited.
