CBS has spoken. The author of the popular HBO series White Lotus, Mike White, “is , returning to the beach for” Survivor” Time 50 .”
The 54-year-old Emmy win finished the show’s 37th time in following overall. He is one of 24 returning people who will thrive in the step period, which will be captured on film in Fiji.
According to network and executive producer Jeff Probst, Mike said,” I want to sing again after he finished playing,” he said on Wednesday. When” White Lotus” came out, I immediately realized that he would never perform again. But he kept texting and saying,” Look, I’m severe,” without reply. I want to play afterwards if there are any situations where you can hire new people. So we’re glad to possess Mike.
Cirie Fields, Ozzy Lusth, Colby Donaldson, Jenna Lewis-Dougherty, Aubry Bracco, and Benjamin” Coach” Wade are another returning enthusiast friends.
White, whose additional funds include” School of Rock” and” Enlightened,” explained to the New Yorker how the show has inspired him in a 2021 interview.
He said,” I still believe that people are people and more exciting than some of the most well-written dramas,” even on the most manufactured reality shows. And as a theatre author, I want to do what reality television already does. To make personalities that are strange, three-dimensional, and do strange things that grab your attention.
White also appeared in two months of” The Amazing Race” alongside his father Mel.
The White Lotus has now received a registration for Season 4.
The production of” Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” will begin this summer and begin airing in February 2026.
