Officers and advocacy groups announced on Monday that a next group of white South Africans had arrived in the US as part of a migrant plan announced by the Trump administration. Nine people arrived late last month, including families and children, according to Jaco Kleynhans, the head of foreign liaison for the Solidarity Movement, a group representing the white Afrikaner minority in South Africa. He claimed that the party flew on a business trip. Refugees continue to fly into the United States from South Africa on business planes as part of the continuous operations of the African relocation program, according to a spokeswoman for the US Embassy in an email to The Associated Press. A group of 59 white South Africans made their first appearance at Dulles International Airport in Virginia last month as part of the new software that US President Donald Trump announced in February. After continuously suspending different US refugee programs, the Trump administration quickly resumed the relocation of white South Africans. White South Africans who are being persecuted by their Black-led authorities and who are victims of racial violence are being given migrant status, according to the Trump presidency. The authorities of South Africa has refuted the claims and claimed they are a false assessment of the nation. Trump has falsely claimed that pale West African farmers are the target of widespread genocides and that their property has been taken away. During a meeting held next month at the White House, Trump confronted South African President Cyril Ramaphosa about those absurd allegations. Ramaphosa claims that South Africa’s larger issues with violent violence, which affects all tribes, are due to the relatively low number of white farmers who are targeted. The Trump administration immediately claimed that the migrant program was intended for people from South Africa’s African majority, who are primarily descended from Dutch and French colonial ancestors. Application requirements for new direction published by the US Embassy last month include that applicants may be” a part of a cultural minority” in South Africa and that they “must be able to explain a previous experience of oppression or fear of coming persecution.” There are roughly 2.7 million Afrikaners in the 62 million people that make up South Africa, which is more than 80 % Black. Not just the pale majority are they. There are roughly 4.5 million white people overall, many of whom have a European or other history. According to the US Embassy, the US” continues to look into queries from individuals who have expressed interest in relocating in the United States” and is reaching out to those who qualify for interviews and processing. Kleynhans reported that there have been about 8, 000 software, despite US officials never revealing how many South Africans have applied to remain relocated. Tens of thousands have applied, according to another organization that assists white South Africans in obtaining immigrant status.
