In response to the terrorist attack by an Iranian card overstayer in Boulder, Colorado, federal immigration officials are planning to crack down on illegal refugees who have already entered the country but have already left when their papers have expired.

The Trump administration’s action to target visa overstayers was revealed in the time after an Iranian national used a flame to flame Jewish residents in Boulder on Sunday afternoon, according to Todd Lyons, the acting director for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“ICE is currently putting a lot of effort into identifying all these individuals who have overstayed their permits. We have millions of people who have stayed in their permits and stayed in their welcome, according to Lyons in an interview with Fox News on Monday. ” One of the main aims of ICE is to go ahead and make arrest of someone that we can get an enforcement action against ] who has broken the immigration emigration law,” said ICE.

The Trump presidency has focused its efforts on the type of immigrant community that it has targeted during its first four months in office, including detaining and deporting those who crossed the U.S. Mexico border without obtaining a visa.

Before anything like this was occur, Lyons said,” We want to go ahead and make sure we take these poor players out of the nation.” We don’t understand what many of these persons came for, they say. Many people come here to commit crimes, committed terrorism, or simply not be who we want in our community. Therefore, ICE is concentrating on locating and removing these persons immediately.

The White House argued that pursuing legal immigration was a top concern going ahead.

” The Trump Administration is steadfast in its commitment to restoring common sense to our immigration system, and we will deport anyone who has entered the country without authorization, whether they have overstayed their immigration, or crossed the border without it. You won’t be in the state for long if you’re traveling improperly, according to White House spokesman Abigail Jackson in an email on Monday night.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman was a 45-year-old El Paso County, Colorado tenant, according to Boulder police on Sunday. According to federal officials, he admitted to targeting what he called a” Jewish class” and was charged with a national hate crime.

Soliman was an illegal immigrant who entered during the Biden management, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

” The believe, &nbsp. Mohamed Soliman, is improperly in our nation. He obtained a B2 card that expired in February 2023 and entered the country in August 2022. He applied for hospital in September 2022, according to an email from a DHS representative.

Soliman, an Iranian nationwide, would have been granted a B2 non-immigrant card, which would have allowed him to enter the United States for a short time.

Republicans have jumped on board with encouraging calling for the Trump presidency to retaliate against all illegal immigrants, not just those who enter the country illegally.

Gov. Rod DeSantis (R-FL ) argued in a press conference in his home state on Monday that former president Joe Biden’s admission to the United States was the result of poor vetting and admission standards.

Why do we allow this gentleman to enter? He ought to have never been to this location,” DeSantis said. He “absolutely ought to have been sent apartment when his card expired.”

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL ) echoed DeSantis ‘ sentiments and demanded that the government “ensure these threats to the nation are deported.”

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX ) made the observation that “uncontrolled mass migration is suicidal” on X.

Given the recent attacks aimed at Jews in the United States in recent months, House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) disclosed on Sunday night that he had asked the DHS to inform council members as soon as possible.
