DIA Employee Tried to Share Intel With Foreign Gov Because… Oh, I Bet You Can Guess!

If you’re a man of a certain age, which is extremely portrayed as “older than dirt,” you might recall a Broadway production and film called” Bye Bye Birdie,” a utterly fictional account of the fervor surrounding Elvis Presley’s enlistment in the Army. By the way, he left. served without a hitch. His platoon commander was my high school Military sergeant. Spoke quite highly of him.

Conrad Birdie, a rock and roll sun, is Elvis ‘ imaginary rival in the television series. When Birdie premieres his song” One Last Kiss,” the story revolves around the hunt for the ideal young woman to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show for “one last smooch.” It’s a joy video with lots of clever and singable tracks. Although Ann-Margret is the 16-year-old girl ( even though she was 21 at the time of the filming ), Dick Van Dyke played Birdie’s manager, Paul Lynde played her father (unlikely though that may have been ), and Ed Sullivan played Ed Sullivan.

The main song by Paul Lynde was” What’s the Matter with Kids Today,” and this extended digression served as the setting for this picture:

That’s the first thing that came to mind when I heard this tale.

Nathan Laatsch, a 28-year-old IT consultant who has been working for the Defense Intelligence Agency since 2019, was detained after the FBI learned in March 2025 that someone was willing to give classified information to a welcoming foreign government.

Laatsch was just detained because he had been attempting to give classified information to a friendly (unnamed ) foreign government by the technical term “exfiltrated,” which means” stole.” He allegedly attempted to gain membership in the welcoming unusual nation.

Because of this, the DIA does, this material was evidently very classified. They claimed he had a Top Secret clearance, and while there is no higher classification than Top Key, there are” compartments” that are more tightly controlled than what is basically Top Secret. You can look at my previous papers on Hillary Clinton and Edward Snowden for a more in-depth analysis of that.

It’s quite clear that Laatsch was attempting to promote content in one of those unique” divisions.” And that brings up the question of what’s wrong with kids these days.

Because of his inability to explain this to a welcoming foreign state, he was trying.

He would be willing to share classified info that he could obtain, including” completed knowledge products, some raw intelligence, and other miscellaneous defined documentation” if he didn’t “agree or align with the values” of the Trump administration.

Laatsch was detained after the FBI received a tip. If you want to turn into a detective, you must first and foremost avoid a friendly foreign state. At least Snowden was smarter than that. He turned to China, perhaps on the way to a predetermined house in Moscow, or perhaps the Taiwanese sold him to Moscow. Snowden made no attempt to travel to, let’s say, Australia. A pleasant foreign energy would most likely view calling the FBI as more in their interest to obtain a marker for a different time as well as see it as being advantageous.

Which is, it turns out, what they did. So an FBI agent reached out to him and made arrangements to keep his information at a northern Virginia garden, which I’m certain impressed Laatsch with how incredibly spy-savvy he was being. And when he realizes that he is in collars, she will be aware.

The most miserable aspect of the whole situation is how completely ignorant, astonishingly, ignorant, and naively ridiculous Laatsch was. He chooses a “friendly” foreign state, known as F–, because the state of F is not opposed to pushing the US’s head, and because the capital of F, P—, is reputed to be a good place if you have the money. He may possess chosen Russia, China, Ukraine, or even connect with a Bond-girl server. Despite my suspicions, I think Ukraine needs to be more cautious.

Has this child not seen a James Bond film?

But really, what was wrong with this kid, really? Kim Philby and the Cambridge Five were recruited as college Socialists, at least in part, because they believed they were supporting the unavoidable Revolution of International Communism. Trump’s alleged inspiration for this kid was reportedly ugly.

How many more, perhaps smarter, children even believe Donald Trump is stinky and have plans to change it?
