EXCLUSIVE: The House Homeland Security Committee opened an investigation into Mohamed Sabry Soliman’s history of immigration, the suspect in the earlier this year attack that precise Jews in Boulder, Colorado.

According to a letter that committee leaders sent to the DHS on Wednesday, House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) and Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee Chairman August Pfluger (R-TX ) informed the committee that Soliman’s immigration status was being investigated and why the federal government had not deported him after he overstayed his visa.

The person behind the most recent strike in Boulder is a member of a broader pattern, according to Green in a statement. He overstayed his visa and was permitted to remain there. The House Homeland Security Committee is given the important task of determining how DHS may respond to the dangers posed by people who are prohibited from entering the country.

Green and Pfluger informed DHS Secretary Kristi Noem that the commission was looking into Soliman’s entrance to the US in a letter.

This horror is “indicative of a heightened terrorism/threat on U.S. soil,” the letter said, citing Soliman’s alleged overstay of a nonresident visa as evidence of the urgent need for improved homeland security measures.

Noem was requested by the committee leaders to give Soliman’s” Alien File,” a phrase for the immigration forms and paperwork required for a non-U.S. citizen. relations between citizens of the United States with law enforcement and the state. By June 10th, Green and Pfluger requested the data.

Soliman, an Iranian national, would have been granted a B2 nonimmigrant card, which would have allowed him to remain in the country for a short time.

According to CNN, Soliman officially requested legal papers in September of that year and was granted them in March 2023. His two-year work force was valid.

Soliman&nbsp, who admitted to targeting what he called a” Jewish class” in downtown Boulder, was charged with a federal hate crime on Monday. According to national authorities, he planned the abuse for a time. Before any imprisonment from the United States, he may be subject to those charges.

On Pearl Street Mall, where protesters gathered regular for a” Run for Their Life” event, Soliman was detained and charged with using a flame to harm 12 individuals.

According to prosecutors and witnesses, Soliman yelled” Free Palestine” and” Stop Zionists” during the invasion.

El Paso County, which includes Colorado City, was a place where Soliman once resided, west of Boulder. Tuesday evening, Soliman’s woman and five children were made public by the DHS.

The assault on Sunday came a few weeks after two Israeli Embassy staff members were killed in Washington, D.C.

In a disturbing pattern of violent hatred spreading throughout our populations in the midst of the October 7 assaults, Pfluger said in a speech.” The heinous strike in Boulder this Sunday was part of a disturbing pattern of violent hatred taking root in our communities.

With more risks being made against the United States and its allies, Congress may find answers as to why this person was able to remain in the country and what warnings were ignored that led to this assault, according to Pfluger.
