Following an alleged targeting of Jews at a common show in Boulder, Colorado on Sunday, Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem ordered immigration officials to repress the number of refugees who had overstayed their permits.

On Monday, Todd Lyons, acting chairman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, previewed the stepped-up assessment of visas and stated to Fox News that” there is a huge press at ICE right now to identify all these people.”
” We have millions that have come in, you know, from the previous administration that have overstayed their permits and exceeded their welcome,” Lyons  said.
Noem’s buy also addressed Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security’s another two agencies, both of which are under her control.
With an expired card, several suspects in new high-profile acts were also present in the United States.
Mohammad Khair Dabous is a suspect in next year’s Virginia breach of Marine Corps Base Quantico. Dabous is still at large after he overstayed his scholar card.
Zsolt Zsolyomi, a Hungarian, entered the United States via South Florida in October 2022 on a 90-day immigration, but he resisted leaving. He was detained by Miami authorities in March as the prime suspect in two deaths.

The review of card holders also includes protests involving the Gaza conflict. Leqaa Kordia, a Arab national, was identified by the DHS as being in the country illegally in March of this year after her immigration was suspended in January 2022.
Kordia was detained for her role in demonstrations at Columbia University in New York.
