Prior to the irrational and enraged protests that lasted into the weekend, federal immigration officials issued legal incarceration warrants at a Los Angeles company suspected of money laundering and customs fraud, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Riot lovers, murderers, and other violent criminals are being battled on Los Angeles ‘ streets, according to Tricia McLaughlin, a DHS spokeswoman.
Instead of rioting, McLaughlin said,” they should be thanking ICE officers every day who wake up and make our communities safer.”
A number of those detained while on the warrant for questioning have been identified as illegal immigrants. Some of the illegal immigrants have been described as having serious criminal histories, including those that the DHS provided for the following 11 people, who make up just a portion of the total arrests, have.

Cuong Chanh Phan, a Vietnamese national who had been found guilty of second-degree murder and given a 15-year prison sentence, was detained by ICE in connection with the 1994 killings of two teenagers at a high school graduation party. After a disagreement, Pan, 49, and other alleged gang members were asked to leave the party and returned with semi-automatic weapons and opened fire on attendees, killing Dennis Baun, 18, and David Hang, 15.
A long rap sheet for sexual assault offenses was written by Filipino national Rolando Veneracion-Enriquez. In Pomona, California, the 55-year-old was found guilty of burglary and sexual assault with the intent to commit rape in Ontario, Canada.
Prior to this conviction, Lionel Sanchez-Laguna of Mexico was found guilty of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, battery on a spouse or cohabitant, willful cruelty to a child, and possession of a weapon while driving under the influence in Orange, California.

Armando Ordaz, 44, was previously found guilty of petty theft, receiving known or stolen property, and sexual battery in Los Angeles. Ordaz is a native of Mexico.
Francisco Sanchez-Arguello, 38, a native of Mexico, was detained on suspicion of grand theft larceny and possession of a prohibited weapon.

In Los Angeles, Delfino Augilar-Martinez of Mexico was found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon and serious bodily injury. The 51-year-old was given a one-year prison sentence.
In Pasadena, California, another Mexican citizen, Victor Mendoza-Aguilar, was found guilty of possessing unlawful paraphernalia, possessing controlled substances, assault with a deadly weapon, and obstructing a public officer. The 32-year-old man received a nearly one-year prison sentence.

Jose Gregorio Medranda Ortiz of Ecuador has a criminal history, including a conspiracy to possess five kilograms or more of cocaine while sailing out of Tampa, Florida. The 42-year-old man received an 11-year prison sentence.
A 43-year-old Peruvian man, Jose Cristobal Hernandez-Buitron, received a 10-year prison sentence for robbery.
