Makeshift bomb, farewell letter: Police raid Austrian school shooter’s house — Here’s what they found
After a fatal shooting occurred there, in Graz, Austria ( AP ), flowers and candles are strewn and positioned outside a school.

In the Viennese capital of Graz, investigators have discovered a farewell letter and a wooden weapon inside the home of the 21-year-old gunman who opened fire at his former college. Ten people were killed in the affair, and the killer committed suicide in the class bathroom. Austrians deplored the victims with a minute of silence planned for Wednesday night, according to AP, but the motive for such an action is still unclear. The gunman was a former pupil at Graz, Austria’s second-largest area, at the BORG Dreierschützengasse high school. Officials have acknowledged finding the text on Tuesday evening, but they were unable to arrive at a conclusion from its content. No motive may be inferred from the farewell letter, according to Austria’s people safety director at the inside government, Franz Ruf, who was speaking to ORF public television. The problem is still being looked into, and they did not want to assume. According to state broadcaster ORF, the subjects included both students and teachers, according to local advertising. Several shots were fired, and the perpetrator was carrying two guns, both of which he allegedly owned legally, handguns and shotguns, with him. With 11 people killed and more than a few others injured, this incident appears to be the deadliest strike since World War II.
