How an Indian man got his Dubai airport entry stamp, six decades after landing
Haji N. Jamaluddin arrived in Dubai by fleet from Mumbai in 1965, without any commercial airlines.

Haji N. Jamaluddin, an American expat who lived in Dubai for 60 years, received a unique memorial airport-entry mark in a profound tribute to the life that has been dedicated to the city. Dubai Airports granted the honor in response to his son’s heartfelt plea to indicate a significant moment in their family’s relationship with the UAE. According to a report from Gulf News, Jamaluddin made the journey by ship to Dubai from Mumbai on February 26, 1965, to a capital still in its early stages of development. What started out as a trip of opportunity turned into a lifetime of volunteer work and close group relationships. Speaking to Gulf News, Jamaluddin said,” This fresh entry stamp isn’t merely a mark on a card; it’s a gift to all Dubai has given us.” My son wanted to pay tribute to my time spent here, and he helped make that happen thanks to the Dubai Airports group.

    From Unremarkable Beginnings

Jamaluddin, a well-known tutor and group leader, is the current president and director of Crescent English High School, which he founded in 1984. Under his administration, the university has steadily grown, and it teaches over 1,700 students, keeping its name as one of the most inexpensive private colleges in the UAE. Values, no profit, are the foundation of Jamaluddin’s educational philosophy. He stated that “money is not everything,” as he did. Education is the best tool for enlightenment.” For four years, he has nurtured generations of students, motivated by a deep commitment to cultural improvement and access to high-quality training. His vision and work have had a significant impact on Dubai’s education system.

Inspired by the revolutionary leadership of the UAE

Jamaluddin has benefited from the management of the UAE, especially Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who he recalls seeing visiting construction sites in the early evenings. He thinks this relationship has had a profound impact on both his ideals and his strong ties to Dubai. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has always been a resident of the country, and he is continuing that tradition. He remarked,” It’s what makes Dubai what it is today. The memorial gesture, which acknowledges his unwavering devotion to the city, serves to underscore the psychological and metaphoric significance of his personal insight into the UAE’s visionary leadership.

Giving the Torch to Millennials of the Future

Crescent English High School students were invited to take a unique educational tour of Dubai International Airport ( DXB ) as part of the celebrations. The journey, which was organized by Dubai Airports, gave students a unique opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at how DXB contributes to global connectivity. The attend was more than just a field trip; it also provided an insight into the infrastructure that supports Dubai’s reputation as a global hub.
