In recent days, hundreds of demonstrators have been detained in cities across the country as a result of the president’s immigration assault and the implementation of U.S. Marines and National Guard troops amid unrest.

While some protests have reportedly remained quiet, according to officials, some have become tense and have resulted in clashes between law enforcement and the populace.

Since Saturday’s attacks in Los Angeles, authorities in California have reported that roughly 400 people have been detained or arrested as protests have raged on.

According to The Associated Press, about 2,500 people reportedly staged protests in New York City on Tuesday night and early Wednesday near an immigration and customs enforcement ( ICE ) facility and federal courthouses in Foley Square, according to police estimates.

Some activists jumped over the barriers and threw themselves at the police. While waving symptoms, including “ICE out of NYC,” some yelled.

According to the news release, 86 people were detained by police, including 52 who were given jury indictments for small crimes and 34 who were detained for resisting arrest and additional crimes.

According to the White House, 330 refugees have been detained in Los Angeles since Friday.

About 150 demonstrators marched from the federal detention facility to ICE office in Philadelphia and up to the detention center. According to the AP, authorities detained 15 people after they allegedly disobeyed officers ‘ orders to leave a main road.

Officials added that some police officers used force while making arrests and that their behavior may be reviewed.

More than 150 people were detained in San Francisco after thousands of protesters marched through the town on Sunday and Monday. Some structures were vandalized, while others were damaged by police, bus, and automobiles.

17 people were detained on Tuesday in Chicago at a rally in the middle of the city. Four were charged with crimes, including aggravated power against an agent of the peace, while others were accused of theft.

17 people were detained in Denver after police ordered protesters to block prospects and gather at the Colorado State Capital. According to police, some officials used pepper balls and soot to encircle the group.

More than 30 activists were detained in Spokane, Washington, after a demonstration outside an ICE business.

On Wednesday night, thousands of protesters marched to a national tower where immigration cases are heard in Seattle.

Seattle Police Department ( SPD ) reported that protesters “attempting to get crowd disperse” by throwing rocks, pieces of cement, and fireworks at the officers. According to law enforcement officials, the state’s Fire Department had to put out a fireplace set in a dumpster.

In a statement on social media platform X, SPD said,” We will continue to move marchers until the persons stop assaulting officials.”

Following Wednesday’s opposition, Seattle’s police made eight prosecutions.

The” No Kings” movement’s promoters are organizing about 1,500 presentations nationwide to rally President Donald Trump’s future military parade on Saturday.
