Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif. ) threw a tantrum at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s press conference, and he was forced to leave.

Noem was speaking at the Federal Building in Los Angeles, where days of protests have erupted as a result of the ICE attacks, according to NBC News Los Angeles. Padilla was taken out of the chamber after saying,” You insist on exaggerating. Padilla, a Democrat, was approached by at least two people who were identified as Secret Service agents by the Department of Homeland Security near a roof and shoved him through windows close to the back of the room.
This be clear: This wasn’t some eruption on purpose. It was a planned stunt meant to make a scene, elicit a response, and earn articles. Padilla knew exactly what would happen, so he made sure the devices were rolling as soon as possible. Plain and simple, it was social theater.
Before being removed, handcuffed, and held motionless on the floor in a doorway, he began,” I am Sen. Alex Padilla, and I have issues for the secretary.” He continued, noting that he was neither detained nor arrested.

Senator Padilla lunged toward Secretary Noem without identifying himself or wearing his Senate safety pin, according to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a blog on X. Mr. Padilla frequently received ultimatums to revert to soldiers ‘ repeated orders, according to the statement.
Secret Service agents reportedly thought Padilla, who was dressed in ordinary clothes, was an assailant, and soldiers behaved properly.
Regarding the incident in LA this afternoon, FBI Director Dan Bongino stated on X:” The Senator in question was no wearing a safety pin and actually resisted legislation enforcement when confronted. We are appreciative of the expertise and assistance that our FBI agents provided the Secret Service.
Let’s put this in perspective: A sitting U.S. senator staged a fight, refused to identify himself, disregarded valid directives, and was misinterpreted as a threat. All to earn a few inexpensive political details on cable news.
After the event, Secretary Noem met with Padilla and had a 15-minute conference with him that was” courteous and beneficial,” according to Bill Melugin of Fox News.

Noem claims that she and Padilla had a 10-minute meet and that they exchanged phone numbers. Says it was helpful and polite. He had questions about ICE businesses, and they established a communication channel. said it was a nice conversation and that their relationship is progressing.

Padilla finally went to the media and began crying for the cameras, claiming he had just attended the press event and wanted to ask a problem.
Padilla claimed that while he was awaiting a scheduled lecture from governmental officials, he discovered that Noem was holding a press event a few doors down the hall and made the decision to crash it.
I’ve been requesting more information and responses from the Department of Homeland Security regarding their increasingly severe immigration enforcement actions since the start of the time, but especially over the course of the past few months. And we’ve only received a small amount of data in response to our queries,” he said.  ,
And so I attended the press conference to learn what she had to say and to see if I could find any fresh data.
He continued,” At some point, I had a problem, and so I started asking the question.” I was nearly instantly taken out of the room by force.
However, his account of the events differs from the picture that shows what actually happened. He resisted those Secret Service agents after disrupting the press event, then walked up to a Key Service-protected Cabinet part in plain clothes.

He continued, noting that he was neither detained nor detained.

What a pitiful show. Reckless, desperate, and terribly addicted to theatrics is what the Democratic Party has turned into. When they didn’t succeed in a fact or policy, they use improbable stunts and conflict. Padilla didn’t really slam Secretary Noem; he used the old-fashioned communist opposition tactic to hijack the occasion and set up a media setting.
