Neera Tanden emailed Walz for his views on the quickly escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. Walz rambled about the” situation in Gaza” and complained about how it “became a major focus in the plan.” He then veered off into complete China-apologist style.

Just as an aside, even Sen. Chuck Schumer opposed the Iran nuclear deal because it was so awful. But I’ll leave it there.  ,
In essence, Walz’s comments were a representation of the dramatic left’s worldview. Iranians are more concerned about the country’s economic expansion than its nuclear interests or violence.
Then, however, the worst happened. Walz lamented that” the Middle East is ] again on fire, and he then lamented:” Who is the words in the world who can reach some kind of deal here?” Who has spiritual jurisdiction over all of us?

Then he responded,” We’re going to have to face the reality — it might be the Foreign.”
Well, in his opinion, Walz believes that the Chinese Communist Party, the same routine that oppressed Uyghurs, censored its own citizens, toppled dissent in Hong Kong, and supported Iran and Russia, is a moral compass for the rest of the world.
This person aspired to be evil president.

Finally he attacked the United States.
” Because we are not viewed as a natural comedian. And we might never have been, he claimed, referring to America’s involvement in the Middle East in the past. I don’t want to share that with anyone. I believe there are many people who say,” You always leaned one way in this.”
Well, America did lean toward our political allies and opposed to murderous theocracies. That was once a positive item.
This is disgraceful, not merely misguided. Walz’s statements perfectly capture the reasons why Americans largely rejected him and Kamala Harris in 2024. A person who examines the chaos in Gaza, Israel, and Iran and concludes that China is the child in the room is unworthy of a seat at the table, much less the vice president.

Let’s not overlook that Walz blasted President Donald Trump’s reply while saying it all with a straight face. I told them, according to a message from the leader today. I told them that they ought to have done anything, and we are now. Yes. Here we are, Walz made fun of.
