'Respect for the lives lost': UK Royal family's tribute to Ahmedabad plane crash victims; moment of silence observed

In honor of the victims of this week’s Air India plane crash, King Charles III and various members of the royal family wore black vests and observed a moment’s silence on Saturday during his official birthday festival. The King requested the symbolic movement. It was made” as a mark of respect for the life lost, the people in mourning, and all the areas affected by this terrible drama,” according to a speech from Buckingham Palace. The collision occurred on Thursday, immediately after an Air India aircraft was taking off from Ahmedabad and headed for London. 241 folks died in the crash, and at least 29 more were injured on the ground. 169 Indian immigrants, 53 Britain, seven Brazilian people, and one French were on board the plane. One man was able to survive. The King’s gift to the King during quite a significant public event was given more value because the United Kingdom is the head of state and the Commonwealth, which includes India and Canada. Trooping the Color is a classic military service in central London that features pomp and music. The king’s holiday is the day before the parade begins, and there is a great overview of the troops on Horse Guards Parade near St. James’s Park. Throughout the entire event, the royal family members in standard were seen sporting dark vests. The King stood on the floor while he observed the soldiers while there was a moment of silence. This is not the first time a similar movement has been made while Trooping the Color has been in. Only weeks after the Grenfell Tower flames, which claimed the lives of 72 people, Queen Elizabeth II observed a moment of silence at the same occasion in 2017.
