According to law enforcement sources, two Minnesotan politicians and their families were shot overnight in what they claimed were targeted police brutalities. The Brooklyn Park and Champlin regions are currently on a hunt. Senator John Hoffman and Representative Melissa Hortman, both Democrats who represent pieces of Hennepin County, were both shot in separate instances at their homes, according to FOX 9 and 5 Eyewitness News. Around 5:30 a.m. for a three-mile circle close to the Edinburgh Golf Course, the Brooklyn Park Police Department issued a shelter-in-place notice. The suspect is described as a white person with brown hair and a black shirt and pants clad in black figure gear. He is allegedly trained, dangerous, and possibly trying to impersonate law enforcement, according to authorities. Brooklyn Park authorities issued a warning to people to stay away from their doors until two officers are current or call 911 to confirm the identity of the officer.” We are looking for a suspect involved in several qualified shootings,” the police said.
