Massive fire in Dubai Marina building extinquished, 3,820 evacuated, no casualties reported
In Dubai Marina, a 67-storey home building was swept under a massive blaze, but it was contained to a brief period of six hours as 3, 820 people were properly evacuated, without a second victim. ( X )

A 67-storey home building in Dubai Marina caught fire late on Friday evening in a major fire. Teams from Dubai Civil Defence managed to put an end to the fire, which lasted for about six hours, early on Saturday night. Emergency services, including firefighters, ambulance teams, and medical staff, responded quickly to the incident, according to official news from the Dubai Media Office ( DMO ) posted on X ( previously Twitter ). All 3, 820 residents of 764 apartments were evacuated without incident in accordance with their planned efforts. Around 1: 30 am, the fire started to slow down, according to a tenant in the area. It has been burning for the previous two days. Numerous pieces of dirt have been falling. The Civil Defense appears to be bringing the blaze under control. Using DMO’s life changes:

    • It was confirmed at 1:44 a.m. that all people had been evacuated properly.
    • At 2:09 a.m., medical and mental health experts were present to assist those affected.
    • 3 820 people were safely removed from the castle at 2:21 am. The final departure matter was announced.
    • Authorities confirmed at 2:34am that Civil Defence groups were working their way to put an end to the blaze despite ensuring people ‘ safety.

No nearby structures were impacted by containment measures used during the procedure. The Dubai Civil Defense team received praise for responding quickly and effectively to both threats to lives and property.

Firefighting Work Caused The Disruption of Tram Services

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA ) temporarily suspended tram services between Dubai Marina Station ( No. 1 ) and Dubai International Airport ( No. 1 ). 5 ) and Palm Jumeirah Station ( No. 9 ). The decision was made as a precaution to ensure the health of both the team members and the people, according to the expert. The RTA set up a alternative shuttle bus service between the impacted metro stations to accommodate riders during the disturbance. The remaining metro networks were completely operational. The RTA stated in an official statement that” the health of our travellers and operations is our best goal.” To keep track of the situation and begin complete service as soon as it is deemed secure, we are working closely with emergency services and appropriate specialists. The RTA added that whole tram service will just resume once thorough track safety checks and related facilities have been completed. We appreciate your patience and assistance at this time, the statement read.

No Reports of Casualties Despite Prioritizing Safety

One of Dubai’s most significant recent incident responses is this extensive removal and isolation effort. Specialists kept watch over the fire’s length and depth despite:

    • No injuries or career losses,
    • A straightforward, seamless removal
    • medical and psychological assistance on-site,
    • Spread of the fire safely to prevent additional home destruction.

Authorities are keeping an eye on the condition and are anticipating providing more information as the treatment and investigation efforts progress. Although the fire has been properly contained, officials have not yet revealed its location, and investigations are reportedly expected to follow.
