We’re just five weeks into President Donald Trump’s second phrase, and it’s unusual for anyone in politics to see him retain many of the promises he made during his campaign. We can then increase the list’s blue-collar pay by a significant amount since the start of the era. &nbsp,

Real income for hourly workers are up nearly 2 % this time, the strongest increase in the last 60 years, according to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Tuesday. Hourly pay decreased by almost 2 % under Joe Biden. No other leader, with the exception of Trump’s first word, when wages increased by 1.3 %, has seen a increase in hourly salary since Richard Nixon. &nbsp,

Real wages for hourly workers increased by nearly 2 % in the first five months of @realDonaldTrump’s second term, the strongest growth in the last 60 years, thanks to @POTUS’ pro-growth, America First policies.

    — Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent ( @SecScottBessent ) June 17, 2025

Bessent, who just sat down with Miranda Devine, a journalist and number of the” Pod Force Again” show, for an appointment, said three things have contributed to this important growth: decreasing inflation, the president’s “emphasis on manufacturing,” and the elimination of illegal immigrants from the workforce. According to Bessent, “working Americans” were ruined by the pressure being put on their wages when Biden opened the borders and allowed anyone to flood the country. &nbsp,

Team Trump even thinks that if the One Big Beautiful Bill is passed, pay will increase even more while inflation will experience a decrease as well. The bill uses phrases like” no tax on ideas” to target daily and blue-collar employees.

According to Devine, the costs would also abolish federal income taxes on time for over 80 million daily workers in sectors like manufacturing, building, and first responders who frequently rely on time for revenue. She adds that it would also “return decades of offshoring” by offering” tax subsidies for companies to develop U.S. companies.”

Bessent even made a speech on Tuesday praising the Senate’s edition of the One Big Beautiful Bill:

We applaud the Senate’s actions in passing this crucial policy and expanding President Trump’s tax relief for working Americans. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill may shield individuals and small businesses from the most recent tax increase and provide fresh tax breaks for seniors. The bill does protect British businesses and workers from foreign income while keeping the United States top destination for world money. The section of this bill may give businesses and individuals the stability they need while promoting economic growth and boosting the country’s economy. We look forward to working with the Senate and the House to further develop this legislation and send it to President Trump’s workplace.

The Trump Administration applauds the Senate’s efforts to pass this crucial regulations and develop on the president’s tax relief for working Americans.
