According to documents obtained by The Oversight Project, college officials in New York City agreed to building illegal creatures at James Madison High School in Brooklyn without including families in the conversation. &nbsp,

Emails obtained by The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project through New York country’s Freedom of Information Law show that officers from the state’s Education Department met Jan. 9 with the high school’s superintendent to explore “FBF Evacuation Planning” at the high school.

Floyd Bennett Field, a neighborhood airport where nearly 2, 000 unlawful immigrants have been residing in a camp society, is referred to as FBF. Impending inclement weather with “high gusts” at the time prompted regional leaders to find other accommodations.

Madison Principal Jodie Cohen stated in a private email to staff sent at 11:17 a.m. on January 9 that the Brooklyn high school “is the secondary sight ]site ] to support the residents at Floyd Bennett Field in case it is needed.”

Cohen claimed that if the illegal aliens were living in the high school, they would leave by morning so that lessons for students would n’t be hampered.

” What does this mean to our normal instruction—NOTHING”! She addressed the message to instructors and other personnel. The intention is for them to arrive here after the school day has ended and depart before the beginning of the time.

In the event that” the wind prevents them from returning to Floyd Bennett Field,” Cohen provided a list of emergency plans for the illegal immigrants. For distant learning,” Post a Zoom script and your email address,”” stable all personal items, and make sure to lock all machine carts,” were also included in these instructions, presumably to stop the migrants from fraud.

Cohen notified Nathaniel Styer and Jenna Lyle, the town Education Department’s hit minister and deputy press secretary, both, that she had emailed her high school’s team. &nbsp,

In the letters sent to The Daily Signal, messages from those spokespersons were omitted.

Five hours later, when Cohen wrote a letter to the great college’s website informing families that lessons were being canceled for the following morning, which was Wednesday, January 10, the kids at the high school were never consulted or informed. &nbsp, At 4: 13 p. m., the principal emailed the New York City Geographic District# 22 administration that “parents, students and staff have been notified of]the ] pivot to remote]learning ]”.

At 7 p.m. on January 9, Cohen hosted a Zoom meeting with parents to address the growing backlash, in which the Madison High principal lambasted parents for putting their trust in her. &nbsp,

” Please know that I put your kids first”, Cohen said. ” I do what I do because I care about children”.

When Cohen made the decision to close Madison High the following day, he did n’t email students or parents first. They were kept in the dark until 4 p. m. Jan. 9.

On Wednesday, January 10, illegal aliens told The New York Times that they had been asked to leave the high school in person, but Madison administrators canceled in-person learning that day anyway. &nbsp,

At 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the New York Post reported that migrants “had already been kicked out of James Madison High School.”

That morning, local Left and Right leaders and parents protested outside the high school.

New York state Sen. Jessica Scarcella- Spanton, D- Staten Island, issued a statement&nbsp, Jan. 10 referencing a Coney Island elementary school that had been proposed as a” site to house migrants” in 2023. &nbsp,

Scarbella- Spanton demanded that her bill be passed to “prohibit the use of schools, daycare centers, or community-based organizations that serve children under 18 from being used as migrant shelters.”

Due to circumstances like this one, the state lawmaker said,” We must do everything we can to ensure that it NEVER happens again.”

Many parents questioned why Brooklyn College, the storm evacuation site for that area of Brooklyn, was n’t used to house illegal immigrants rather than relocate students. &nbsp,

Parents still have questions about the city’s glaring decision to prioritize illegal immigrants over the taxpayer-funded education of city residents ‘ children more than two months later. &nbsp,

The Oversight Project’s emails from Cohen’s office reveal that school administrators did n’t give local parents ‘ needs any consideration at all.

The Daily Signal sought comment from James Madison High School, but did n’t receive a response by time of publication.
