The main strategy committee for President Joe Biden reported having more than$ 71 million in cash on hand at the end of February.
President Joe Biden’s biggest political rivals are now gaining a significant income advantage.
Political committees headed by Presidents Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former president Donald Trump, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. filed their February disclosures with the Federal Election Commission ( FEC ) on the evening of March 20.
Joe Biden
Only one of President Biden’s political boards made a report on March 20, but that particular committee had far more money at the end of February than any other big candidate’s major commission.
President Biden’s primary battle commission, Biden For President, according to its FEC processing, held more than$ 71 million in cash on hand at the end of February.
The same business raised about$ 21.3 million in total records and made about$ 6.3 million in total payouts.
The whole extent of the government’s funding is not known as of March 20 because significant portions of the Biden economic apparatus report on a monthly basis.
When the various committees that are related to President Biden file monthly financial disclosures with the FEC, the full size of his war chest will be made public in April.
Donald Trump
According to the FEC, three boards that were funding the Trump plan raised about$ 28.7 million in February.
President Trump’s primary campaign council, Donald J. Trump For President 2024 Inc., his certified management political action committee, Save America, and a super PAC, Make America Great Again Inc., held about$ 63.1 million at the end of February. The groups spent$ 22 million.
The Republican Party’s elections ended in February with the resignation of former US embassy to the UN Nikki Haley. President Trump is now the GOP’s presumed nomination.
The Trump strategy, however, is making significant investments in defending the candidate in various legal proceedings throughout the country.
The three boards that reported their February actions reported lower than$ 6.5 million in legal costs during the month, according to FEC files.
Like President Biden, just a part of the Trump administration’s funds were revealed on March 20. In the middle of April, the rest of the boards that are subject to the FEC’s regulation of President Trump will release monthly disclosures.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
According to its FEC files, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s plan spent more than it did in February.
The two organizations financing Mr. Kennedy’s work, the main battle commission Team Kennedy and a composite PAC American Values 2024, reported they collectively raised about$ 7.3 million and spent about$ 11.7 million.
Together, the two groups reported they held more than$ 23.7 million in cash on hand at the end of February.
In February, Mr. Kennedy’s wonder Super Bowl campaign was purchased by American Values, making national headlines. He made headlines once more in March when stories about him possibly tapping New York Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers as his running mate surfaced.
