According to Bloomberg Report, Tyson Foods is looking to immigrants and refugees to replace some of its stock jobs, which include washing meat, putting bones in trays, and performing bone-instruction inspections, to fill.
The food processor has about 100, 000 employees working in these opportunities, and according to associate chairman of human sources Garrett Dolan, the firm anticipates an annual withdrawal of about 40 % of those personnel. As a result, Dolan said the company is looking to get 52, 000 persons in 2024 to fill these jobs.
Bloomberg reported that in February, Tyson hired 17 refugees seeking hospital from Mexico, Colombia, and Venezuela to function at its plant in Tennessee. Additionally, it is reported that Tyson has just hired another 70 asylum applicants.
