Cameron Blasek, the 17- year- ancient high school student who went popular for refusing to eliminate the British flag from his truck after school officials instructed him to remove it, just received a completely custom wrap of the British flag on his truck. Blasek was even honored by the American Legion for his protection of the symbol.
The 17- yr- ancient high school student made the news after standing his ground and defending the British symbol when his therapist and vice principal from East Central High School reportedly told him he could not have the National flag displayed on his truck while it was in the school’s parking lot.
Soon after Blasek was told that he was not allowed to have the emblem displayed on his vehicle at school, East Central High School Principal Tom Black issued a letter to parents explaining that the college district had decided to change its decision and allow students to showcase the American flag on vehicles in the school’s parking lot.

According to Fox 19, Cincinnati’s GCI Digital Imaging upgraded the 17- year- old’s pickup truck for free with a custom wrap of the American flag. The custom wrap, which features the flag’s stars and stripes, can be seen in pictures and a video shared on social media by Collin Rugg, co- owner of Trending Politics.
Fox 19 reported that Blasek was amazed by the transformation of his truck and shared how happy he was to be able to display the American flag on his truck.
” I’m pretty happy that now I get to pull up to school in this thing, and I am happy to show off this American pride that I’ve been shown”, Blasek said.
Blasek was also honored recently by the American Legion for defending the American flag, according to Fox 19. Veterans from the American Legion presented Blasek with the Red, White, and Blue Award and$ 3, 000 for his display of patriotism.
” All I ever wanted in the first place was just to fly the American flag on the back of my truck”, Blasek told Fox 19. ” I did n’t want anything more or less than that”.
Jean Wilson, a U. S. Army veteran who attended Blasek’s ceremony, emphasized the importance of people standing up for their beliefs. ” The American flag means a lot to myself and my entire family”, Wilson told Fox 19. ” We have many who have served in the military, defending our country for people to have the right to choose, have the right to say what they believe in, just as Cameron did. So it’s so important”.
