Smith’s departure from the plane is not his first day raising concerns with public spaces or other large gatherings that call for Covid practices years after the pandemic.
The artist was expelled from the 2022 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards after complaining that the occasion required that all participants get vaccinated, according to the New York Post. Additionally, 48 hours prior to the ceremony, proof of a bad Covid test and booster shots were required.
In a since deleted video, Smith at the time said,” I want to regret to y’all for not being at the Screen Actors Guild Prizes.” ” I mean no offense to people. I’m no vaccinated, and it’s a requirement to become vaccinated”.
Smith, who appears in the Kevin Costner television series as Lloyd Pierce, stated that he intended to support his cast members despite their numerous award nominations that night and that he did n’t “believe in that stuff,” making reference to the Covid protocols.
” I will not get vaccinated. Since I was a young child, I have n’t been vaccinated. I do n’t vaccinate my dogs, I do n’t vaccinate my horses. I’ve always had a fever picture. Not did. I believe they sacrifice your immunities”, he added at the time.
