Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, entered decisions in Westchester County, where the former president owns a golf training and the Seven Springs house.
In his$ 45 million legal fraud case, a well-known researcher and consultant raised the alarm about the processing of judgments against former president Donald Trump by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
” You’re going to create the greatest suffering of 2024, and you’re going to appoint Donald Trump”, he said.
Mr. Luntz has received criticism for his 2016 forecast that Democrat Hillary Clinton did win the presidency, but he accurately predicted that the former mayor’s poll numbers would surge after being indicted four times last month.
According to Mr. Luntz,” If they take his goods, he’s going to suggest that this is evidence that the federal government, the creation, the marsh in Washington, all the lawmakers in the country, the attorneys generals, and everything else, that this is a crime to refuse him the presidency,” adding that the former leader is “going to go up in the polls, just like he went up every single day they indicted him.”
He therefore warned Ms. James and the Democrats in New York that “if you play elections on this, this is what the secretary of state in Colorado and what they do in, in my opinion, Maine. His figures went up in both state”.
” This is a great example of how sad the antagonism to Trump has been and how entirely mistaken, and I’m almost flabbergasted,” he continued.
The past president has claimed that Democrats are attempting to hurt him politically by the four charges, the civil fraud trial, and various cases brought against him ahead of the 2024 election. He has a March 25 date to charm his plea of not guilty to all costs and has denied any wrongdoing in the civil fraud situation.
The former leader of Truth Social questioned the constitutionality of the circumstances brought against him over the weekend.
Decisions Filed
On March 6, Ms. James with the Westchester County Clerk’s Office entered some judgments against the former senator and his children, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. The three judgments filed in the county by the attorney general against President Trump amounted to$ 243, 326, 767.10,$ 20, 421, 141.98, and$ 63, 580, 273.97.
In Westchester County, just north of New York City, the former president’s corporation owns the Seven Springs land and the Trump National Golf Course Westchester.
The registrations do n’t necessarily indicate that Westchester property seizures are imminent. Experts say, however, they are a legal action that would be required if Ms. James seek to acquire them. The attorney general stated in February that she would be willing to surrender the former president’s qualities if he was unable to pay the legal fraud loan.
A relationship amount must be approved by President Trump before March 25 in order for New York to potentially seize his assets. The former president claimed this week that he had$ 500 million in cash, adding that Judge Arthur Engoran “wanted to take it away from me, and that’s where and why he came up with the shocking number” for the fine.
President Trump warned him that he might need to offer his property for “fire sales prices” in order to post bond on the civil fraud case or file an appeal. Additionally, he claimed that the judge was” trying to take my appellate rights away.”
