What Will Be the Effect of the NAR Lawsuit on the Real Estate Industry?

The future effects of the recent National Association of Realtors ( NAR ) lawsuit settlement are still undetermined, whether pertaining to real estate agents or to home and other real estate buyers. There are already too many unresolved issues and unsolved practical issues to accurately predict how points will ultimately end up in the real estate market, despite some market pundits ‘ impossible to help themselves with making predictions.
However, the court decision ( which led to the lawsuit ) may yet be overturned. Some accused did not settle and are still appealing the court decision, in contrast to the NAR and some other defendants who settled with the defendants. Therefore, while it is expected the basic structure of the NAR settlement will become successful by July, it may be some time later before it’s obvious what practical day- to- day changes, if any, will occur….
