According to a survey conducted by the Local Government Association ( LGA ), two-thirds of local councils in England are unsure whether they will hit their net zero goals.
The organization attributed it to a “bureaucratic program” of selling for money from the federal government. Additionally, they demanded that political parties support” a native strategy” in order to provide better value for money.
Most councils ( 85 % ) have “little or no confidence in the approach to achieve net zero homes,” according to the LGA’s survey, which was released on Monday.
However, 95 percent of people have little or no faith in the plan to achieve” net zero transfer” and 95 percent have little or no faith in how the objectives will be realized “in a way that is fair and equitable to anyone.”
